WHO IS SOTERIA?
Soteria is a non-profit making Christian organisation. Our current projects include the Soteria youth magazine, the Soteriamag.co.uk youth lifestyle website, and the worship music site soteriamusic.co.uk.
WHAT DOES SOTERIA STAND FOR?
Soteria wants to spread the Word about Jesus Christ. How He gave His life in order to save us from the punishment of our own wrong doing. To this end Team:Soteria is a group of unpaid dedicated young people who use the magazine, the websites, music, and even the shirts on our backs to speak out about the Lord Jesus.

CAN I SHARE COPIES OF SOTERIA MUSIC MP3s TO MY FRIENDS?
Yes! Soteria:WMD is pioneering a revolutionary way of distributing its music. In addition to the usual rights and laws surrounding copyright, we are going to make the following totally legal; you can share downloaded MP3 files with your friends. However this is done only on the understanding that you will not take payment for sharing, you will not claim it to be your own work, and/or you will not re-publish it to any internet site, blog or file-sharing system. However if, for example, you have a Soteria MP3 on your laptop that you have downloaded from this site; and you wanted to copy it to your friends iPod, (an action banned by the rest of the music industry), this would be acceptable.
WHY IS SOTERIA:WMD DOING THIS LEGAL SHARING SCHEME?
We are making this new scheme of legal coping for the one reason, that we want the Word of God spread to all people. This is our concession to helping that cause. However Soteria:WMD does not authorise or condone music piracy. God Himself said through the Bible that the workman is worth his wages, and therefore it is right and proper to pay for downloaded music and produced CDs.
HAPPENING WITH THE CDS & SHEET MUSIC THEN?
All the usual rights of artwork, (coping, hiring, lending etc.), will be reserved in the normal way. The only difference to our copyright stratagy is the one that states you are allowed to copy downloaded the free sample MP3 tracks to a friend’s device. HOW CAN I HELP THE CAUSE?
Firstly pray for all the divisions of Soteria and the work of the Christian Church. Secondly pray for the unbelievers. Thirdly if you want to contribute with money you can donate via paypal at the magazine site. The link to the magazine site is in the links section.
